At The Optical. Co, we believe in high quality eyewear that is crafted specifically to you and your vision. We believe vision should be crafted, not manufactured. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

How to initiate a return

Before you return any items please review our Return and Refund policy to ensure that your order qualifies. For qualifying orders please contact us to begin your return.

Once you ship your order please contact us to provide a notification and any tracking information for your return.

Eyewear Frames

Eyeglass, sunglass and reader frames may be returned up to 15 days from delivery for a refund minus any custom lens costs. To qualify, frames and case must be returned in their original condition.

Eyewear Frames Exchanges

Eyewear frames may exchanged for another style. The price difference can either be invoiced and paid via email or refunded to you.

Custom Lenses & Lens Enhancements

Custom eyeglass lenses (prescription and non-prescription) including lens enhancements are a custom made medical device and are non-returnable. If you are having issues with your prescription lenses we do offer a one-time complimentary remake of the lenses within the first 30 days. Please contact us to discuss any issues you may have with your prescription lenses before returning.

Eyeglass frame orders that include free custom lenses can be returned for a refund minus up to $75 for the custom lens value.

Contact Lenses

Contact lenses may be returned up to 15 days from delivery for a refund. To qualify for refund, contact lens boxes must be returned unopened in their original condition, must be free of any writing or markings on boxes and free from any damage to boxes. To exchange contact lenses please contact The Optical. Co and make arrangements.


All other products may be returned up to 15 days for a refund. To qualify for refund, products must be returned unused and unopened in their original condition.


All professional services are non-refundable. Please contact us with any questions you may have with the services your receive at The Optical. Co.

Refunds on orders

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

Once your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment in accordance to our Terms of Service.

Service and Shipping Charges

The Optical. Co uses third party payment processors such as Afterpay, Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay and Klarna that may not refund these processing service fees upon return. All processing fees are non-refundable.
